Sage is a tough warrior from Arthedain. Her brothers, and older sister, Sian, got all of the attention, and Sage felt neglected and jealous. Sian left to seek her fame, and fortune, leaving Sage living in her shadow, trying to live up to everything Sian was. Sage became more and more fed up with hearing how great Sian was, and what Sian would have done. Realizing she could not be the perfect daughter that Sian had been, Sage decided to leave and make a name for herself. She is determined to earn the respect of her family, and especially her older sister.
After arriving in Bree, Sage fell in with two Dunedain brothers, and a run away Hobbit. They journeyed east together arriving at Caras Marad. There they fell in with two Elves out of Rivendell. As the toughest, and lead fighter Sage became leader of the party which is doing quite well.
