Larec is a Uruk Hai from an unknow Rhudaurin orc tribe. After his home lair was destroyed he fell in with a Noldor named Cedain. Cedain convinced him he could be more than just an orc, and so Larec set about learning everything he could. Larec was always in the frontline of any combat, and was frequently wounded.
When the fiery Beorning Rena joined the party Larec was instantly infatuated with her. She rebuffed his advances, and bristled under Cedains tight control of his party. After Larec was severly wounded, and not given healing, Rena dessertd the party, taking him along. After being healed he continued to travel to with Rena, and Lalaina while they joined and abandoned several parties. It was during this time that they mat Kashak, and he and Larec became great friends.
Currently they are allied with the Dwarf Dinkley, and a Noldor named Feadoral. As both the only fighter, and the most experienced of the group, Larec is still usually in the front line, though Rena doesn't really give orders, but rather tries to reach a consensus.
Although he realizes Cedain was only using him, Larec continues to try to educate himself. He has gone to far to ever be a part of orcish society, and only on the frontier can he mix with humans. When among humans or elves he tries to conceal himself beneath his armor, or a large hooded cloak.
